Who we are
In the 1960s, there was a small store in Toyama Prefecture called "Kitagawa Aramono-ten." Aramono-ten, a term not commonly heard today, was akin to a general store for daily necessities. The store, run by the founder's grandmother, was beloved by the townspeople. It offered various products and, true to its name, served as a gathering place for many people, playing a role similar to modern-day community centers.
Decades after the store's closure, in 2021, Aramono was reborn with a focus on promoting attractive products and culture that blend Japanese tradition with innovation to the world. Conversely, it also aims to introduce excellent overseas products and services to Japan. Inspired by Kitagawa Aramono-ten, Aramono aspires to be a hub where diverse people and products converge, fostering a sense of community once again.
